Vice President for Information Technologies

Silver Spring, MD (March 7, 2005)—Johnson, Bassin,
& Shaw, Inc. (JBS), with corporate headquarters in Silver
Spring, MD, is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris
Hansen as Vice President for Information Technologies. Mr.
Hansen will lead a new initiative to expand JBS’ core
business into the planning and development of custom data
systems. “We are excited about adding Chris to our executive
team,” said Jerri Shaw, JBS President. “He provides
the vision, expertise, and commitment to excellence that our
clients associate with JBS.” Gail Bassin, JBS Chairman
of the Board, noted that “Chris’ ability to conceptualize,
execute, and manage complex IT development projects will help
us better meet our clients’ emerging technology needs.”
Mr. Hansen is a recognized leader in IT development, with
long and varied experience in managing the design and construction
of custom business systems for Federal, State, and local government
agencies and private companies. Mr. Hansen will split his
time between the JBS corporate headquarters in Silver Spring
and the new West coast office that is scheduled to open in
Olympia, Washington in late Spring.
Established in 1985, JBS is a women-owned health and social
